As we loose confidence in our institutions and leaders, we start noticing the growing cracks and limits of our current economic and political systems. This talk will look at how the the digital revolution has created an empowering collective context by providing a new set of tools like Kickstarter or change.org
to surpass these limitations. That said the tools will never suffice. A 3D printer can as easily be programmed to print a gun or an artificial heart.
This new context calls for new responsibilities as no collective change is possible without a personal willingness and conviction of having a role to play. Revolutions start in our heads. Everything is political, there is no small bet or small impact. The job you choose, the smile you give, the door you open, the cause you support, each of our actions helps build a new society. It's always the 10% of a society convinced they can change the world who change it.
