The current Sharing Economy is really a Rental Economy which has been driven by Capitalism & Profit. Its current avatar has lowered barriers of entry and increased participation but still can't address the social dilemma of making it accessible to everyone, especially those who really need it. Private money can no longer stand as social collateral and thus sustainable Third Spaces (between work and home) need to emerge in order to involve the fringes. How will these Third Spaces look like or operate? Can existing spaces be repurposed and made to fit? How can we bridge trust and fiscal issues without corrupting our shared social responsibility?  What capital and ownership models will succeed in the future? How can we build them to reward potential, limit human greed and yet scale this movement? The workshop should help shed light on these questions and more.
