Susana Nascimento is Policy Analyst at the Foresight and Behavioural Insights Unit of the JRC / Joint Research Centre, EC / European Commission. She is also Associate Researcher at CETCOPRA / Centre d'Etude des Techniques des Connaissances et des Pratiques of University Paris 1 / Pantheoon-Sorbonne, and Associate Researcher at CIES-IUL / Center for Research and Studies in Sociology of ISCTE-IUL / University Institute of Lisbon. She holds a PhD in Philosophy from University Paris 1 and a PhD in Sociology from ISCTE-IUL.

She currently works on future oriented technology analyses, transdisciplinarity and codesign for policy innovation, citizen engagement and participatory platforms, open science and technology, and new making and collaborative cultures.
