I studied analytical philosophy in London in the late 1980ies, worked at AltaVista from 1995 to 2001 and at Sun Microsystems from 2004 to 2010. I have been researching the creation of the distributed secure Social Web using Linked Data, working on standardising pieces that are needed at the W3C, implementing these in Scala and Scala-JS and giving talks on the philosophy of the Web.
